Action Learning
As facilitators of learning, we are dedicated to creating a purpose-full culture of collaboration and sustainability practice. Such a culture emphasizes learning in-the-moment where trust, openness, and truth-telling are implicit to upholding the values of mutual respect, integrity, and accountability. The Action Learning Cycle is a dynamic recursive process of doing, reflecting, and inquiring that folds into new, more effective action.
- there are no failures, only feedback…what worked today in one context may not work tomorrow in another context
- environment and contexts change. The same action will not always produce the same result. Learning in action requires flexibility and adaptability within complex, changing conditions
- many organizations make the mistake of measuring only results and forgetting to measure the processes that lead to the results
