Kate McLaren, MEd, MPA
Kate is an organizational consultant based in Ottawa and one of the founders of the Ginger Group Collaborative. Over the past 15 years she has worked with public sector organizations and non-profits, in Canada and internationally, to support organizational learning and change. She has facilitated many planning, evaluation, action research and team-building processes with a blend of solid research skills, creative facilitation and a flare for process design. She is especially interested in whole systems thinking and the application of new ideas about complexity in human environments.
Kate is working with colleagues to apply the collaborative research and action techniques of Social Analysis Systems for gathering and analyzing information about issues, people or future options that any group of people needs in order to further their understanding of a particular situation and move forward.
