Peter Faid
Peter set up his consulting firm, Community Services Consulting Ltd., in 1990 after a decade as Executive Director of the Edmonton Social Planning Council. He applies his extensive knowledge and process skills to projects requiring policy analysis, program evaluation, needs assessment, strategic planning, community development, public consultation processes, and intersectoral collaboration.
He has consulted to municipalities and federal and provincial government departments as well as professional associations, non-profit agencies and community organizations.
Peter has worked on several major policy or legislative reviews affecting people with disabilities: individualized funding for persons with disabilities, services for people with acquired brain injury, communication for the deaf, and the use of assistive animals.
